a bridge of
culture and entertainment
between
New York and Sardinia
NINTH EDITION
A festival where the artistic and cultural experiences of New York artists mix with the experiences of the local community. Sardinian poems become African American spirituals; an ancient monument like Nuraghe Lo turns into a holy place for members of the Iroquois Nation; wash tubs and soda cans transform into musical instruments.
We discuss art, history, literature, poetry, technology, economy, media information, and world politics, while dancing, singing, listening, and debating. A true cultural exchange that involves both children and adults. We speak different languages, but we understand each other, and we always learn something.
